Cygam Energy Inc. is conducting international exploration activities in Italy through its wholly owned subsidiary, Vega Oil S.p.A., and in Tunisia through its other wholly owned subsidiary, Rigo Oil Company Limited.
Cygam currently has an interest in five exploratory permits plus one recently awarded concession in Italy and four exploratory permits in Tunisia totalling 3,522,961 gross acres (1,824,505 net acres before pending farm-outs).
The Corporation continues to evaluate additional exploration permits in proven, producing, circum-Mediterranean sedimentary basins on an ongoing basis.
The Corporation also retains minor interests in Canadian oil and gas fields which collectively produce approximately 37 barrels of oil equivalent per day, net to Cygam.
